The difference between SICK CARE and HEALTH CARE

When it comes to our health, it’s important to understand the difference between SICK CARE and HEALTH CARE.

SICK CARE is focused on treating symptoms and using pharmaceutical drugs to heal. It’s the traditional approach to healthcare that you are most likely familiar with.

You go to the doctor when we’re sick, and they give you a prescription or tell you to take an over-the-counter medication to alleviate your symptoms.

HEALTH CARE, on the other hand, is focused on total lifestyle wellness and understanding lab values in order to create a health plan that fits you as a unique individual and your personal lifestyle.

HEALTH CARE acknowledges that your body has the innate ability to heal itself and focuses on identifying the root cause of the symptoms, rather than just treating the symptoms.

When you know your body, you know your symptoms and you have the tools to heal. You have mastered wellness.

As a naturopathic doctor, my goal is to empower you to heal and walk alongside you as you learn your body’s weaknesses and what natural medicine, nutrition, supplements, mindset, and treatments are necessary for healing.

Remember, the body knows how to heal itself when given the proper nutrients, while decreasing sugar intake, and balancing metabolism.

Alignment, abundance, and being connected to emotions are all important for healing.

HEALTH CARE is about understanding that your body is a complex system and that all aspects of your health, including your physical, emotional, and mental well-being, are interconnected.

By taking a holistic approach to health, you and I can create sustainable, effective health and wellness habits that will allow you to achieve your goals.

It’s time to get you on your health and wellness track in 2023. Life is moving fast and you no longer need to suffer with symptoms that are getting in the way of you living your absolute most abundant + BEST LIFE.

Health is the best wealth you could ask for in life.
