Tips for eating while we are traveling, planning is the greatest tip. If we are always prepared there is a greater chance our health will benefit most.  There is less stress on our mind and body when we are prepared. Eating healthy is an important tip that will improve one’s overall health.

If we take the time to prepare meals and pack food for our day we will reduce our stress, because then you will be eliminating have to figure out where to stop to eat, how long it will take once you get there and not to mention how it will affect your financial budget. Eating out will increase the spending by greater amounts than you realize. Because most likely you do not track your spending by each purchase you make, by months end you are trying to figure out where all your money went.

If you find you must eat either at a restaurant or a store you want to be sure to make healthy choices, so yes a fast food place would not be a wise decision because you will only increase the amount of unhealthy food choices. Another great reason to prepare your own food because then if it is a hamburger you would like at least the meat you would choose could actually benefit your health and not clog your arteries instead.

Packing your healthy trail mix is another good tip because then when hunger strikes you are ready to combat it and feel energized to continue on your journey instead of eating that fast food that only ends up making you feel like you need a nap while your arteries are crying about how clogged they feel.

Your drink choice is just as important as your food choice; it would be wise if you made some delicious smoothies that you also could have in a cooler.  Not only will they quench your thirst they will feed your body.

These are just a few tips to keep you on track with your health goals, there are plenty more where these came from. Always remember you are empowered to decide to make a change, especially with your health.  The more you realize this and engage your power the better you can feel, everything comes down to a decision. Being healthy and happy is two of the most important decisions; each time we are faced with a choice just think will this benefit my health or destruct it.
